This was on my dresser in 1973, more than likely a bottle of Boonesfarm Strawberry Hill. Today it sits on my basement fireplace.

I had all 'the funks' albums at onetime but the only album of there's that I still own and occasionally still listen to is the Frank Zappa produced album Good Singin', Good Playin' from 1976 (it's a straight rock album) and although the earlier albums have some individual good tracks on them like We're An American Band which is a good rock song to listen to overall though there rock gets to close to soul/rock at times for my liking.

"Destitute & Losin" should be the audio that accompanies the video of the fall of Saigon in a Vietnam War documentary.

    The 1974 B-side of "The Loco-Motion".

I rate GFR as one of top 10 American rock bands.
