One of the five greatest bands that ever walked the planet.

I saw them live in 2010 and in 2009, replete with Steve Hillage, and they were superb. As good as they ever were back in the hippy-dippy days

Their latest studio LP 2032 is well worth having

It is amazing to think that Daevid is a week short of 73 and Gilli is almost 78...!!

Gawd bless 'em!

Robust stuff!

welcome the CRF fellow Gong fan!!!!!
While I'm not sure the 2009 and 2010 tours were as good as the classic 70's tours they still were amazing!!!

No, agreed my learned friend they certainly weren't as robust as in their heyday.

I recall The Chalk Farm Roundhouse gig back in 1971 as if it were yesterday.

My point about the recent tour is that the old boy (and girl) can still hack it.

Robust stuff?

Not 'arf!

I heard that Angles Egg album once and can't remember anything about it the only other GONG album that i have heard a couple of times is the one that features Steve Hillage on a couple of tracks from 1975, the album was OK i suppose but it's not my kinda rock music although they had a small'ish hardcore following in the UK granted.
