Glenn Hughes and Jason Bonham are back

After BCC, Glenn Hughes and Jason Bonham are back with 23-year-old guitarist Andrew Watt. The latter was introduced to Hughes by Julian Lennon and it will be interesting to see how he fares. A new album, from the band now called California Breed, is due later this year. Watt writes and sings, but unfortunately there is no Derek Sherinian or Kevin Shirley. Needless to say, former BCC guitarist Joe Bonamassa has a new album on the way, produced by Kevin Shirley and this time from Las Vegas via Nashville.

I'll definitely keep on eye on this band. Too bad Black Country Communion came to an end, but what can you do....

I have to add that I'm more excited about Joe's solo album than California Breed.
