It seems Gene Simmons has been busy since the New Year has started. Gene took to his twitter account on Thursday night to let us KISS fans know that he has been writing lots of new songs as of lately. The Demon writes:



"Writing new songs... Got 8 new ones I'm excited about. One's a kick in the nuts."



Could this new material be for the next KISS album?

They are headed into the studio in Feb,that's probably why Gene is writing now.

Ah, this is a guy who has claimed many times that he has "thousands of songs" he has written over the years that he has never recorded and is simply sitting on, for one reason or another. In fact that was his original premise behind his 2004 solo album, to get some of those songs out.

Gene claims to have just as many songs "in the can" as the number of women he reportedly has slept with

That's pretty humorous, Aeroplane. Maybe his songs in the can wont Kick you in the nuts! Therefore, he is writing new material.
