Despite the Skynyrd being one of my favorites, I got sick of hearing Free Bird so much.
Edgar Winter Group's song is very good as well, but...
I digress about hearing Free Bird too much. Doesn't make it less better of a song. Free Bird for me, talk about a mad solo(s)

I'm a huge Skynyrd fan.
I like Free Bird.
Because it means I can beat the traffic jam at the end of the show.
But it's Skynyrd, which means it's awesome.

As overplayed as Free Bird is, it still gets my vote. Not so much for the first 4 minutes of the song, but everything from the final vocal build-up through the last 4 minutes of instrumental work.
