That's sad news but he didn't look that good a few years ago after putting on weight and maybe confined to a wheelchair full-time??.

Personally I always thought Paul was a great singer for 'Maiden' back in the NWOBHM era between 1979-1981 in the UK with his shorter hair, black leather jacket and punky vocal delivery set against Steve and Dave's long hair and wearing either black leather and or faded denim jackets, tight blue 1980 style jeans along with the mandatory bullet belts!!. Also if I listen to 'Maiden' these days I only listen to Iron Maiden & Killers and never got into Bruce's 'operatic' vocals.

I bought the 45 rpm vinyl Sanctuary single in 1980 and the vinyl album Killers in 1981
