For All Those Sleeping
(Progressive / Post-Hardcore / Screamo)
I picked up on For All Those Sleeping while I was looking for something similar to Alesana. While I was a little bit hesitant to give screamo a chance again, I was pretty impressed with this band. They aren't just your traditional screamo "raaaaa" band. They're much like Alesana in the sense that they have some beautiful ballads and some heavy riffs. I tend to be very picky when it comes to post-hardcore as well, the vocals can't sound too whiny, otherwise I won't give the band much chance, this band however doesn't sound too whiny, adding to my liking.
The album I first listened to by them was Cross Your Fingers. Definitely one of my favorite post-hardcore albums in my collection at the moment:
The first two tracks are pretty incredible, as is the rest of the album:
Outbreak of Heartache
Never Leave Northfield
(Progressive / Post-Hardcore / Screamo)
