I'll post these two scans of vinyl singles while I have the chance. Soon be school holidays and my PC time will be limited:wa

Original UK vinyl issue of Green Manalishi

This is a strange UK issue from 1975. A promo re-issue of Man Of The World on the DJM label and I suspect it was a one off deal to cash in on some sort of promotion, whether for the group or for some other purpose which is now lost in the mist of time. I've never seen another like it. I'll have a look on the web and see if I can find anything about it and if I do I'll report back :D

Re: Fleetwood Mac

Was never a huge fan of them. Liked some songs by them, but until my ex (she is named after Lindsey Buckingham) played me their first album, bare trees, their self titled 1975 album, Rumours, and Tusk I kind of got hooked.

Re: Fleetwood Mac

i've heard their first album and wasn't impressed. just standard blues. they got way better in the early 70s. future games is my favorite album by them. very atmospheric

Standard blues? Obviously you have no idea or appreciation for blues what so ever or the era, the regional movement, or the influences that produced Fleetwood Mac's s/t album.

Re: Fleetwood Mac

^^^Agreed there's a hell of a lot going on, the covers alone Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Howlin' Wolf .. they a pulling stuff out of the hat in various styles. The self penned numbers also explore different approaches to blues music and all this coming from a band so far removed from the birthplace of the blues, these guys have worked hard getting the chops together.
