Mine was Wizzard and the Nashville Teens at an open air concert at West Wycombe, Nr High Wycombe, Bucks, 1973.........Oh crap I'm old!

First live concert, as a kid, we saw Aerosmith at, I believe, the Galleria in Houston Texas summer of '78. They sucked, couldn't hear a damn thing over the guitar. Their two opening bands, though, were a different story: AC/DC and Journey.

Last live concert was Dylan at MSG a few years ago. His band was exceedingly tight, but his voice was like nails on a chalkboard.

How's this?

First Concert was Black Sabbath 1984 w/ Ian Gillan (Born Again tour). This past Saturday I went to see Sabbath: The Complete Black Sabbath Experience - A tribute band with Ozzy and Dio renditions at House of Blues.

The tribute may have been the best cover band I've seen. Some of these tribute bands are hit or miss. These guys nailed it especially the Dio singer (who actually auditioned for Black Sabbath in the 90's).

Pretty sure that my first concert was Waylon Jennings - September 1981 (although it may have been Sept 1980).

Last concert was Halestorm / In This Moment / New Year's Day - December 2018




In between those times... there are far too many to even remember.
