Yeah, many Danish artists tried to copy the merseybeat sound back in the 60s and 70s as it was a very popular sound and still is. Especially it was very popular in the town Esbjerg where I am now. Esbjerg was Denmark's Liverpool if we are talking about music and culture, in the 60s and 70s.
