No, it's not the classic horror flick, but the "prog" band called FAUST. I'd like to start a thread on one of the band's most underrated songs called Jennifer. Not only is it an underrated song but an underrated psychedelic-prog song:****:. The hypnotic bassline is mind-blowing and the voice is sublime. It appears on their Faust IV album. Pity this song and band do not get the merits they deserve:cheers:

Re: Faust

I have a few of their albums, they are an Acquired taste I would say, but do deserve their own thread for sure.

Re: Faust

I agree with LG, you have to have a taste for avant-garde music.

Although I do enjoy Faust IV.

I have never seen them live, but I have friends who did, and they said the LIVE shows are awesome. They say the percussionist is something to really see and that the music was very loud.

Re: Faust

I am a great fan of Kraut Rock (especially Can & Amon Duul II)and Faust are one of the most 'way out' of the Kraut Rock bands! I enjoy listening to their albums (if I am in the right mood!!). I did have a chance to see them once but went to see somebody else instead (forget who!).
