Thought I would start a thread on these guys from Austin Texas. I remember when they came out in the mid 90's there. I was intrigued enough to pick up their second CD. All the Pain Money Can Buy and hearing The Way for the first time.

Funny though I didn't really ever go back and get the first one or explore them further. From time to time I take this CD out and give it a spin and it seems to sound better the older it gets.

Anyone a fan of this band that's a bit more into them?? Jump right in!

i know them about as well you do MP! I like a song or two from them! Here's a nice track that reminds me of a younger sounding Randy Newman!

Good song Soot!!! That's off the same CD!! Yeah!! That's what I'm talking about. These songs sound better today then when I first heard them. I can't believe I didn't pick up on the Randy Newman sound...yup! It's there!!

This is a new band for me.......I have taken the time to explore "All The Pain Money Can Buy" a bit deeper and I hear a huge 60's vibe. Very similar music to Gin Blossoms or The Wallflowers.

I sorta get the feeling this album is telling a story about all the things in life people choose to aid them through the bumps and grinds of everyday life........but I could be wrong.

I will be exploring the debut as well as their 3rd album, too ;)
