Faded Photographs

Can anyone recall the band and song referencing faded photographs -not recorded by Jim Croce? It played often in the early to mid 70s. My dad passed away in '74 and I'd hear it and cry on my way to school nearly every day.

Would it be "Photograph" by Ringo Starr? it came out around that time.

Thanks. I looked all morning then found it- Traces of Love by Dennis Yost and the Classic IV. They also did Stormy. Just didn't look long enough -too many interruptions. It is on You Tube.
