Exist Trace (often typeset as exist†trace) are a Japanese visual kei metal band, and consisting entirely of female members, yaaay! They're from Tokyo, Japan, and initially formed in June 2003.
At the moment these girls have released 4 Singles, 4 EP's and a compilation albumn.

Exist Trace's music can be described as melodic death metal and vocalist Jyou growls throughout many songs, which contributes to the dark undertone of many of the songs.
Their guitar sound often features heavy distortion and technically virtuosic riffs and solos. Their sound is heavily focused on their bass and drumming, which helps define their musical style. The lyrics are mainly based on gothic themes, and their music style has resemblance to gothic metal.

This band has some decent music but their is way more of that gutteral screaming than I tend to favor. I do like the other vocalist though and even think she's got a cool distinct sound. It's cool that something this heavy is performed by an all female group. That's pretty rare and besides Kittie I can't think of another band quite like it!

Always looking for new metal bands! Looks cool! Didn't listen to all the tracks yet but Resonance is cool! I like that tune! Liquid sounded a bit epic as well!
