Myeah but though times for the artist mostly means great music/art/poetry. It's shitty to say but I think we benefit when an artist isn't completely happy. Not said in a mean way..

Truthfully, the only song I've heard is 'Hey Man, Now You're Really Living.'
Everyone seems to favor them, I might give their music another listen!

That's a good song, but O so happy... His voice doesn't get much better than that so don't expect anything more.. but most of their songs have more 'feeling' in it... So yeah, it's worth the trouble of exploring more!

Oh yeah, I dig Eels!

I like how they sound like a playhouse filled with depressed dolls, or something.

I really like Beautiful Freak, with the exception of that annoying "Susan's house" song.

Souljacker is also really good, rougher, less dreamy..

Susan's House is fantastic IMO, would probably be in my top 5 from Eels!

I've had a listen to End Times (the song) lately as well, it's nice to hear them still creating good music

But my sister used to play that CD so much so maybe I just grew tired hearing it?

Yeah that could be it, I've heard many stories of songs being overplayed by others around people, and they go on to hate them because of it. If not that, then it's just a difference in taste
