Early Queen Concert and Documentary Coming to the Big Screen



Queen‘s first-ever live recording of “Bohemian Rhapsody” highlights a new concert and documentary film presentation coming to select theaters nationwide.

Recorded during a 1975 tour, Queen: A Night in Bohemia features a complete concert from Christmas Eve at the Hammersmith Odeon in London as well as never-before-seen footage of Freddie Mercury and the band, including interviews, backstage clips and sessions for the recording of “Bohemian Rhapsody,” the groundbreaking chart-topping UK single from A Night at the Opera.

The film, which has been restored and remastered for the big screen, will be presented on March 8 at 7PM local time through a partnership of Fathom Events, More2Screen and Eagle Rock Entertainment. For a complete list of theaters, visit Fathom Events’ website.

Tickets for Queen: A Night in Bohemia will be available beginning tomorrow at Fathom’s website and at more than 200 participating theater box offices. The set list for this show, which was originally broadcast live on the BBC program Old Grey Whistle Test, includes “Killer Queen,” “Ogre Battle,” “Now I’m Here” and other early Queen favorites. So, basically the "A Night at the Odeon – Hammersmith 1975" show, which was released on CD/DVD/Blu-ray not too long ago! I'm guessing most, if not all, Queen fans own that already, but it would still be cool to see it on the Big Screen!

Freddie's roar (almost growl) "Liarrr!" on 0.17 was really cool. :D Never heard nothing similar from him before.
