Duane any day of the week. Betts is good/serviceable but I don't think he could lift Allman's jock with a forklift.

In Duane's own words, "I'm the famous guitar player, Dickey is the good guitar player". Pretty hard to argue with Duane Allman. Matter of fact, I guess it's impossible.

Stevie Ray Vaughan also said that his brother Jimmie was the best player he knew. There's a difference between showing respect to a peer, sibling, etc and actually meaning it.
