I was just throwing several classic and familiar songs from the 50’s on a mega playlist earlier and came across something I had not thought of. In the very late 1950’s and very early 1960’s, one trend was the teenage drama/tragedy songs. “Leader Of The Pack”, “Teen Angel”, “Dead Man’s Curve”, “Last Kiss”. The trend had all but run its course when The Beatles appeared singing songs of love and romance again.
