More than 100 Ronnie James Dio hologram shows are planned throughout 2019, while the previously reported Frank Zappa tour is also currently being set up.

What are everyone's thoughts on this?
Personally, I find it sort of creepy and don't think I would see it. I saw three times back in the day (twice with his band and once with Sabbath), and he put on a great show, but I think this is taking things a bit far. It almost comes off like people trying to make money off of his legacy.

I saw RJD 8 times all togather. Once with Rainbow on the Rising tour, 6 times as Dio, the final time with Black Sabbath, after they had changed their name to Heaven & Hell.

I don't think this " borders" on cashing in on a deceased legends death. in fact, I'd say that that is exactly what it is. It's repulsive in my opinion as is the tour planned to cash in on Frank Zappas death.
I not only will not support this but am venomously opposed to it.

This creeped me out when I first heard about it.. It's very weird in my opinion.

However it could be worse I suppose... They could ressurect his voice with Vocaloid software and re-record and release previously unreleased demos using it like they did with Hide, a famous rock star from Japan..

That's just about as creepy as you can get.

I say to both cases, let them rest in piece...

Not a fan of this BS. Doesn't matter who the artist is. I love DIO in any and every rendition of his career (well, other than the Rednotes stuff in the 60's). If someone handed me free tickets, I'd maybe go, but I wouldn't spend a dime on it. I don't know if it's a tribute or a cash crop. Either way, I wouldn't want any part of it.

Regrettably, it's true, standards have fallen in entertainment.
It's video, Dude.
Now that we're competing with the amateurs, we can't afford to invest that little extra
in story, production value, feeling.
