Well, two phenomenal groups with very different sounds.

Pink Floyd remains THE favorite band and Deep Purple is one of my favorite bands lol. So... my vote is a given.

If you were to say something like "Moody Blues or Pink Floyd"
Or "Deep Purple or Black Sabbath" then it wouldn't feel impossible.
