David Gilmour mistaken for Jeff Beck

Heard this song the other day and I could have sworn it was Jeff Beck. Well it turns it's Gilmour from his debut 1978 solo album. It's more of a Jazz Rock type of sound not characteristic of Gilmour.

At first it sounded kinda Pink Floyd-like, but about a minute in I can see why one would mistake this for Jeff Beck

That is a very cool album. The only solo floyd work (other than Syd Barrett's) that I've been able to get into.
