I agree....except for Purple Rain being a great movie. It's a great album but a great movie I wouldn't ever call it.

Ok, great compared to say, The Godfather? No. But the music played in it's entirety in the movie compared to movies that have good soundtracks to which you only hear 30-50 seconds of a particular song.. in that comparison, it's great. Or as a movie based around music, it's very good.
