I don't have cable or any channels to watch for that matter but it's common knowledge that the age of video channels died. MTV obviously being the worst offender, V-H1 stopped, Fuse started following playing movies, etc. It seems like there may be a resurgence with the increase of channels through Dish Networks, etc. Anyway, I've caught a lot more when visiting the family. I still won't count ANY MTV Network including MTV Hits because even though that's all vids it's practically nothing but Hip-Hop. "Oh my Gawd!!! Sooty made a complaint about Hip-Hop!?! :omg:" :heheh: I hate how rap was saturating the MTV airwaves way too much during the end of the video age and I hate it now too. I want variety!!! :grinthumb Which brings me to a video channel I've gotten excited about. First of all it's a LEGIT true to it's word 24/7 music video channel. It's known as:

CoolTV.png

It plays all genres with fresh new videos as well as blocks of different genres and music eras. It's the first time I've seen this in a long time but are their others as well now? Are music videos coming back on T.V.? Will this fail because music on T.V. doesn't sell? Thoughts? :)

My cable service sucks, but I will never forget M2 (MTV 2) back in the old days, along with ACC ( Austin Community Channel).

Between these two, for a few short years, I got to see everything from The Cure, to The Butthole Surfers, Ministry, Metallica (before the Black Album), SRV, you name it. Is there an eclectic "rock" music video channel left out there?

The one I mentioned seems to at least try if you can deal with newer stuff and pop artist mixed in. :)

I guess I am confused, you are referring to "Internet" channels? I found it on the web, and checked it out, but are you mainly referring to actual television broadcast?

No, they may have like an official website for it but this is an actual channel I watched on television at my parents! :grinthumb
