When you think about it Bruce, Clapton and Baker were very instrumental in shaping the way Rock progressed from the late '60s. RIP one of the greats.

If you look at each member's solo efforts after Cream you'll see who's was the greatest departure from the orthodox blues/jazz root. His early solo albums are borderline progressive.
