Jackson is my pick. Compared to the others not only is his voice strong but his own and very melodic and professional. Randy Travis, Randy Owens, Johnny Cash, George Jones, and of course the greatest of them all imho Merle Haggard blows all of these newbies out the water.

Hank Jr by a light year. Country Boy Can Survive was kind of a theme song for some of us back in the 80's. The song plays as good today as it did back then.
