I'm gutted, Steve and his band really were a breath of fresh air - he virtually invented 'GlamProg'.
From the onset Cockney Rebel interested me as several early members were in Trees. Another important cog in the machinery of music now lost.
Hopefully he's reunited with former band member Paul Jefferies who met his tragic end in the terrorist Lockerbie aircraft bombing.
Farewell Mr. Soft.
