Although I don't consider this one one of the classics, I have to agee, Don't like this song. Same with that Go For A Soda song.

Yeah, it's not a Rock Classic, but for some reason "Rock and Roll Duty" is played on classic rock stations....but that song is SO much better.

Layla! That is just about my favorite song :/. Oh, well. I HATE The Joker by Steve Miller Band, Free Falling by Tom Petty, any Bob Segar song, When the Levee Breaks by Led, In the Evening by Led, Black Dog by Led and kind of the Ocen by Led. Yeah, a lot of Led, but they had a lot of good stuff to counter those 4. There are other, I will think of them later.

Is "November Rain" by Guns 'n' Roses "classic rock"...well, I think the song is a classic piece of junk, regardless...
I think November Rain is a great song. Oh well...

Can't think of anything off the top of my head at the moment but I'm sure there's something I'm gonna hear that will remind me.

The immediate answer that leapt to mind was "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin. When I hear the intro, I can't get to the radio dial fast enough.

Okay, just heard Steve Miller Band's The Joker and I have to agree. If I never heard it again I'd be thrilled.

Wow, there actually seems to be some Zep-bashers on this thread!
Interesting, I guess they are still overplayed....I find I like them so much better when I don't hear the same old songs over and over again.
One that I DO seem to hear over and over is "Whole Lotta Love" and I can do without that one for at least 20 yrs at this point.

Well, I really like a lot of Led, but the 4 songs I picked out are all in a certain style I just can't stand.

A few that spring to mind that it seems are pretty well loved by most people are "Child In Time" and "Lazy" by Deep Purple...I just don't get into either of them at all.
Another one is "Machine Gun" by Hendrix. I don't get that one either. As a matter of fact, I think that whole Band Of Gypsys album is kinda boring. I used to have it and ended up taping a couple of songs off of it and traded it in.
"Don't Bring Me Down" by ELO has always grated on me a little bit. I'm not sure why - maybe over exposure.
"Emotional Rescue" by the Stones bugs me too. I'm not that much of a Stones fan to start with, and I find this one exceptionally bothersome (although I can't remember the last time I heard it, so I guess it's not THAT much of a problem).

I've been known as a Zep basher, but I love that song! :)

PS - But I agree about Whole Lotta Love. I have never liked that song.
