Classic Metal vs. Today's Metal

Wow! I didn't think this thread would have worked this well. Metallica falls in both categories so I decided not to use them. As fas as the bands I chosed, I tried to use really mainstream Classic Metal Bands (Yes, I know Motörhead isn't a really mainstream Metal Band) against Non Mainstreams Metal Bands (Yes, I know Rammstein are somewhat mainstream). Now as far as my pick of the ones I used, I'd have to go with Mötley Crüe.

I'd chose a few bands from today over all on the list personally.

I'm always torn between Maiden and Priest...I'd probably give it to Maiden by a split hair because Iron Maiden is such a brilliant band. I love them both though.
