Yeah sad news. 
I found out as I ordered a drink at the Stone Pony, Asbury Park, NJ last nite before a show. Considering this is one of the places Bruce and Clarence started out it was sort of a sad place to find out. I told the bartender we should have a shot for him. There were about 6 people at the bar and we all did a shot for him including the bartender.
