If John is good to go, this can only be a good thing.

I missed Cristine's singing and writing on the last album. It was too much Stevie's & Lindsey's solo writing "Mac-ized".

Still good music, but not quite FM. Hopefully there will be some group writing this time.

Christine McVie Wants to Rejoin Fleetwood Mac

Christine McVie has spoken candidly — and hopefully — about the possibility of rejoining Fleetwood Mac. “I like being with the band, the whole idea of playing music with them. I miss them all. If they were to ask me I would probably be very delighted…but it hasn’t happened so we’ll have to wait and see.”

She recently made her first appearance with the band on stage in over 15 years this past September, joining them for a joyous version of ‘Don’t Stop’ at two separate shows in London. This unlikely event came after years of her trying to put the past behind her. As recently as the start of 2013, she was dismissive of ever having anything to do with the band again. “I suffered from some kind of delusion that I wanted to be an English country girl,” she explains now to the Guardian, “and it took me 15 years to realize that it’s not really what I wanted at all.”

McVie herself acknowledges It’s all speculation at this point, “a long way down that path if it ever were to happen.” As of right now, everything with the band is on hold while bassist John McVie deals with his health issues. “John’s got to get well first, so it hasn’t been talked about. We’ll have to wait and see. He’s having his treatment in L.A. right now, but they caught it (cancer) really early so he should be up and running in a couple of months.”

Only 15 years to figure out she missed her old lifestyle and playing with the band?

:gig

Her biggest allies are Stevie and Mick, so if she's serious then other than John getting over his cancer treatments then they might make this work after all. Taken a while to get to this point, too bad she didn't come to the realization before the last tour was planned and her friends did ask her before setting it in motion.

Right??? I don't think a musician can stay a non musician for very long

It comes back at ya, so it's best to not make any promises.

The only thing IMO that can keep a musician away for good is serious illness
