Before they were Chilliwack, they were called The Collectors. I have their first album that was titled simply, Chilliwack. It's great.

There first 2 albums were called Chilliwack. I have both and I have both Collector's albums.

CHILLIWACK!?!?! Holy crap, I saw them perform as a warm up for R.E.O. Speedwagon in 1982! I have to admit that while I never really took them too seriously, I enjoyed their live show.

When I saw them, their biggest hits were "My Girl (Gone Gone Gone)" and "Whatcha Gonna Do." After that, they pretty much fell into the abyss of oblivion. Dust in the wind....

Some generous soul Uploaded a Vinyl Rip in FLAC of "Dreams Dreams Dreams" a few weeks ago, seeing it was never transferred to CD I am very happy, I wore my old vinyl copy out of this one.

June 12 Chilliwack gig in Morley Alberta. We'll be at the Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino and are happy to be a part of the "Alberta Ride for Sight" charity fundraiser. Admission is free to individuals who have raised more than $50 for the charity. Check with Alberta Ride For Sight or Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino for details.

The following weekend June 19, we'll be at the Whalley Community Festival. This is a free non ticketed late afternoon outdoor show 4:30 to 6:00. Contact the Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association who are producing the show, for details. 604.580.2321

There are a number of other gigs coming up this summer. I'll give more details soon. The dates and places through to the end of July are:

Sherwood Park is only 20 clicks away and I used to live in Courtenay, which is right next to Comox, literally.
