I was in touch with Bun a lot for the book. He answered every question I had. I think he didn't want to keep touring but didnt expect them to stop sending the checks. He wanted to do a Sgt Pepper extended residency in 09 and Robin didnt want his kids pulled out of kindergarten. When Bun said "now we're dealing with school schedules ?" Robin hung up.

Ironically, Bun is always the classy one and even posted a congratulations when Robin sang anthem on Sunday in Tampa

If youre interested check out the book and use the promo code

I'm sure those of you who still have physical music collections own copies of Cheap Trick The Epic Years box set and ***, America, Cheap Trick. I also have unauthorized versions of The Unreleased Steve Albini In Color, Live At The Metro 1998, Live At The Roxy 1998, Live At Grant Park 1999, and possibly a soundboard recording of Sgt. Pepper's Live At The Hollywood Bowl.
Oh, and two Rick picks.
I have pretty much every bootleg there is as result of research for the book

Some of these I rarely listen to because of audio quality. The Steve Albini In Color I’ll listen to a few times a year.
It is often hard for the fans when a group is fighting and there are differences of opinions. Even sadder still when a band member is no longer a part of some of your favorite experiences.

I don’t have interest in seeing them live for the last several years. I just want to hold on to the memories of our youth and the fantastic live shows and albums from the past. But thank you for all the music, Cheap Trick.

I recall buying the first one when it came out,,,,wonderful lp imho, and the next 3 studio were also very good as well and the live Budokan which is of course all early songs.
I still have the first with the black and white debut being the only one I play anymore.....period.
