A good friend of mine said I should check Bruce Springsteen out, I am inclined to agree so I wanted to ask you good fans of him what album should I start out with?? I always have room for more bands in my library .

Good for you! I think there is something great with pretty much every album and also something different with every album and that includes the new one, 'Wrecking Ball'. I'm loving the new album. But if you want to start with the best, go with Born To Run. It's my number one album of all time. Let me know what you think of whichever you decide.

I have seen the new album Wrecking Ball in stores lately so I will definitely have a look at what they have.

Can't argue with JG's suggestion of Born To Run but the one released immediately after that is Darkness On The Edge Of Town. My personal favorite although BTR is a very close 2nd. You really can't go wrong with either one. Throw in The River, Born In The USA, etc...

Now that I've had time to listen to Wrecking Ball in it's entirety, I'm really getting into the bonus track American Land. Love the way he references Youngstown in the middle of the song. (highlighted lyric)

I was going to suggest Darkness too but BTR is still first for me. Like you said though, either or.

It is! I love that shot. I haven't seen it online anywhere either though. If you find it, definitely post it.

I'm enjoying it BIG TIME too! It's so amazing to me that Bruce still has this in him after 40 years. And....he performs on stage like a man half his age. Have you seen any of the Apollo Theater stuff? He was in the rafters!

Scooter and the Big Man!

Clarence was big and he made me feel, think, love, and dream big. How big was the Big Man? Too f***ing big to die. You can put it n his gravestone, you can tattoo it over your heart.

Clarence doesn't leave the E Street Band when he dies.. He leaves when we die.

You're very welcome R.E...yes, he will be missed very much. But the horn section is sounding pretty awesome and Jake is doing really well on the sax based on the Jimmy Fallon and the Apollo performances. Also, Bruce did a wonderful tribute to Clarence during Tenth Avenue Freeze Out during the Apollo show (they stopped playing after he sang...'when the Big Man joined the band' for 2 minutes). I hope he does this on the tour as well...I'm pretty sure he will. He also did something for both Clarence and Danny. He asked the audience if anyone was missing tonight...of course they cheered and Bruce said...'Yeah, we have a few missing. But the thing I can guarantee is if you're here, and we're here, then they're here." It was very moving.
