Hello. I am writing my bachelor's thesis this year about the music of the hippie movement of the late 60's. I will focus on the effect of the music on society and culture in general. I need many books for references, so I am asking about some titles, preferably of some more known ones, detailing this period of time. Thank you!

An interesting book is "Turning on: Rock in the Late Sixties" - a collection of different stories of the music and culture of the time.
Contents of the book in brief -
Roots of the new rock
England keeps swinging
The spirit of '67
Goin' to California
Flowers in their hair
The dream goes sour
Chronicals of an era
