... Which is unusual because I don't listen to alot of Death metal, if I listen to it at all. I got the urge a few months ago to start listening to some death metal, and the one band that stuck out was - Bolt Thrower.

I was thinking about making a thread on this band for a while, but never got round to it.

I have all their albums, aqcuired them all fairly recently and haven't listened to them all yet, but I think 'The 4th Crusade' is probably my favourite so far. I'll update on whether that changes or not once I've listened to each album enough times to familiarise myself with it.

Great band. I picked up Realm of Chaos and enjoyed it. Was a gamble being I had not heard them prior but I trust Earache associated bands. I love this band.

Got Mercenary and Honour Valour Pride albums in the mail today. Mercenary is just awesome. Love the slower tempo death metal of this album.
Behind Enemy Lines is a great song.


Return From Chaos is another very good song.

Saw them earlier in the year with Benediction, in Seattle. Definitely one of the better gigs this year.

Been diggin this band a lot lately. Wish they'd put out a new record already.
Through The Eyes of Terror off the album Realm of Chaos.

RIP to late drummer Martin Kearns who died recently and Bolt Thrower also split up. Going to listen to some today as they are one of my top 10 death metal bands.
