Although Wolf posted this band/album in his '70's Obscure Heavy Rock thread I think they should be mentioned as certain members went onto other significant bands.
Black Cat Bones were formed in 1966 by Paul Kossoff, Derek and Stuart Brooks, and later Simon Kirke and played the London club circuit for a couple of years. Exit Kossoff and Kirke to form Free. Enter guitarist Rod Price, vocalist Brian Short and drummer Phil Lenoir and Barbed Wire Sandwich was released in 1969 on the Decca label. The album flopped and the members went thier own ways. Rod Price left for Foghat and the Brooks brothers formed Leaf Hound with Peter French who would later go onto Atomic Rooster. British heavy blues-rock
