Bakerloo was another product of the British blues boom led by guitarist/keys/harp musician Dave "Clem" Clempson, vocalist/bassist Terry Poole and drummer Keith Baker. Thier s/t debut from 1969 features progressive blues/boogie rock similar to that of Cream.

Dave Clempson went onto Colesseum, a great prog/jazz/blues band. Terry Poole joined the great hard rock band May Blitz and Keith Baker landed in Uriah Heep.

You're right Sox. He also played with Greenslade amongst others.

This is some really cool sounding heavy rock. Really good bluesy licks and I like the vocals a lot too. The whole sound is awesome actually ....I really like the way the bass line groves a long with the drummer.

Nice post ,Joe. Clem Clempson is awesome on Smokin' but I never knew he was in this band.

Bakerloo was very bluesy at this time, I like this band.

Good to know Bakerloo is a part of Uriah Heep family!
