Two excellent prog/tech death metal albums. The most evil.

Opeth. I'm no expert when it comes to death metal and it's sub-genres.

Joe, Opeth is more a technical deathmetal + technical prog metal band. Putting it losely

^^^ I know. I'm just saying that I'm not a huge fan of the sub-genres of death metal, thus I can't really say I have a 'trained ear' for the music. I have three Opeth and two Death albums and have both albums from the poll. Blackwater Park is such a complex musical arrangement with the help of the production from Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree. So evil, yet so beautiful.

With that being said, Death's musicianship is also excellent and has such different textures and moods on the album as well.
