Good album.....but a big disapointment.. at the time. Lets face it Gillan wasnt meant to be with SABBATH....It was a bad move .
Time has forgiven it...there are some scorcher tracks [trashed eg].......but I will never forgive the album cover HORRENDOUS!!!!

9 Awesome album ..awesome album cover. Wish they would have done more with Gillian and am always on the look out for bootleg live recordings of this line up.

I'll give Born Again an 8, just on the basis of side one alone. I thought the first half flowed really good together...besides the most Awesome TRASHESD...we have Zero The Hero and Disturbing The Priest!!
DTP still freaks me out to this day played on 10

^^^My sentiments as well! Both with my vote 8:excellent and also some of the songs I greatly like. I do like to think that Ian Gillan probably let some of his dark side out with the lyrics and his singing. Being in DP for many years and not having too much opportunity to let the dark side out, it must've been mostly fun writing/performing with Sabbath for a while, imo!
