^^Yeah I couldn't watch his reality show...no matter if part of it was staged or not. I felt embarrassed for Ozzy.

He is not completely daft just yet TS, a few years back due to the massive outcry from his fans about a reissued set of classic albums that Sharon had cut out the original members and replaced them with studio musicians to deny them royalties, Ozzy took charge and released the Original albums intact, albeit remastered but he corrected that mistake.

Indeed, I didn't know that. I'm not suggesting he's like a vegetable just yet, or maybe I did, in which case I apologise. But his 'illness' whatever it may be does seem to be progressive rather than in remission, and he sometimes looks like he could fall over at any time when you see him walking around on TV etc. I think him and Sharon is actually a great love story, he's helped her through cancer and she has been a rock for him for decades, and their kids at various times have been out of control though they have turned out as great kids, but I imagine she controls all his business interests nowadays, so like others I wonder of the Bill Ward thing is because of her.

^^I would think she is handling his affairs, which also was most likely the biggest hold up for any kind of reunion taking place.

I think Iommi should step up with Geezer and convince Ozzy(Sharon) to just do the right thing. There is no reason to deny Ward his fair place in Sabbath. After all, how many bands from the very beginning of their careers in the late 60's can put the original line-up on stage now?

I've always considered "respect" when it comes to contract/negotiations in the modern age to = money.

If they are paying him like a studio/touring musician instead of a full fledged member of Sabbath then I agree with his stand.

This will be their last go round, so drop the crap everyone split everything 4 ways and get on with it.

And I agree with MP, I get the feeling Sharon is somewhere in the mix of all this.:nw:
Definately stinks of that. I hope they realize what a bad idea it would be to try to cheat him then let him walk away like that. I was thinking of seeing them this time (not because I expected it to sound even remotely good but mainly for nostalgia/contribution) without Bill I will not even bother.

He may not have been the greatest drummer of all time but what he brought to Sabbath was undeniable. Very tasteful drumming from start to finish. Mr. Ward is a class act I would be shocked if this turned out to be anything other than genuine.

This should have been sorted well before the press conference was held. If you're going to sell something as an original line-up, you have to have that line-up, otherwise it's bullshit.

This has got Sharon written all over it, ****ing hate her.

$haron is a she-shylock that it's trying to out Gene Simmons the money potential of Sabbath. It won't be long before you see a Wardless Sabbath (replaced by ham-fisted Vinny Appice!) On American Idol™ (just like Judas Priest).
The big secret is that you don't need Sabbath when you've got ORCHID!

It's not the first time Bill refuses to go on tour. He will never change.
