"Houses Of The Holy" and "Physical Grafitti" for me.

Those are my two favorites! :D But in reverse order. First, Physical Graffiti. And second, Houses Of The Holy.

And here's how everything else fits for me...

(3) Led Zeppelin IV
(4) Led Zeppelin II
(5) Presence
(6) Led Zeppelin III
(7) Led Zeppelin I
(8) In Through The Out Door
(9) Coda

Location
The lands of Marshall Stack.
Spent the whole day with this 1976 Led Zep disc... on in the house & workshop - The syncopation on this album is unbelievable, Bonham, Page and Jones are so tight-the groove is dirty... down in the trench heavy. Bonzo's pedal work is at it's best. That Hagstróm 8 string bass underpins all and Plant sings along with the fat sound all over this lp.
If I recall correctly this was known as
'The Wheelchair Song' as Robert was seated in one throughout this track, due to over indulgence of powders and potions. As is For Your Life ... aimed squarely at Page.
Jimmy kept a tight ship on Presence and produced a hard blues classic. Sadly ignored for years, but listen to the juggernaut of Achilles Last Stand, (Mask Off, from the get go!)
Enough pontificating.... the song -
