i played "raise a little hell" when it came out....in Alabama no less! but you won't hear it at all in the South now (and probably most other parts of the country), since (god, my stomach is starting to churn) Clear Channel radio basically controls the largest group of radio stations in the US.....you will hear Triumph, however.... i always liked "ooowatanite", "weeping widow", "roller" and a bunch of other Wine tunes...

"Rock Myself To Sleep" is a bit of a stinker though, isn't it?

that's too bad about trooper not getting airplay hehehe. i saw them a few years ago in a bar and they still put on a great show even if the singer did think my friends and i were only there to start trouble and almost got us kicked out hahaa (we really weren't though one of us just had a little too much to drink hehehe)

Best Forgotten Bands, or Obscure

.
Best bands that have faded from public memory, or are too many just obscure bands.

Just being obscure might be different ? Its hard to define, but I know it when I see it.

The best kept secret of Canada: Max Webster

MaxWebster.jpg

The skills of Kim Mitchell combined with the brilliant lyrics of Pye Dubois
were a treat that we may never see the likes of again anytime soon.
