But my choice is one of my favorite German Metal bands and what many people consider their best studio album.
Best Live album would be the double CD "Pulse" by Pink Floyd.

I think you'll like that one a lot, Magic, I don't like it quite as much as MCATIS, but it's pretty close, it was more of an acquired taste for me, but after I heard Mellon Collie, I was able to get into Siamese dream.. It's excellent IMO

For me it is the landmark "Different Class" by Pulp.
A close second would be Radiohead's "The Bends" (which I see quite a few people mention...and rightfully so) and coming along in probably third would be the sophomore album of one of the 90's most underrated bands, Blind Melon.
