Re: Audioslave

Man, I love Audioslave.

Out of Exile is one of my favorite albums by them strictly for this song:

Re: Audioslave

I've always been a fan of this track. It was a change of pace for Audioslave but is a great melodic tune!

Re: Audioslave

This may be the wrong place for it..but I couldn't find a Chris Cornell page. I saw Chris Cornell live in Toronto at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Awesome show, Chris was sick and even cancelled the night before in NY. The QE Theatre is a great small venue, we had almost the worst possible seats in the place...but they were great! We were 2 rows from the very back on the balcony. I believe the total seating is approx 1,600. Cornell's voice was spot on the entire night. Played a very good mix of Soundgarden,Audioslave, and Solo stuff with a couple of cool cover songs as well. His cover of Thank you (Led Zeppelin) was worth $50 alone IMO. He also covered Imagine (John Lennon), Man of Golden words (Mother Love Bone) and a bit of Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd). I also really enjoyed his version of State Trooper (Bruce Springsteen), very cool and Cornell's intro of the song was cool he talked about how he drove intoxicated before but can't catch him now "Clean blood". Overall it was a great show with alot of great music and Cornell was a trooper for putting on a great show when it was very obvious that he was feeling awful...

Heres the total setlist:

SET LIST:

Scar On The Sky

Be Yourself

Can’t Change Me

As Hope and Promise Fade

Ground Zero

Call Me A Dog

Fell on Black Days

Dandelion

Thank You (Led Zeppelin cover)

I Am the Highway

Sunshower

Hunger Strike

State Trooper (Bruce Springsteen cover)

When I’m Down

Seasons

All Night Thing

Man of Golden Words (Mother Love Bone cover)/Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd cover)

Say Hello 2 Heaven

Mind Riot

Like Suicide

Like A Stone

Doesn’t Remind Me

Encore:

Sweet Euphoria

Black Hole Sun

Imagine (John Lennon cover)

Nice set list. Thanks for posting Ecisgod.

I just recently got his "Unplugged in Sweden" set. Really a nice listen. Here is the track list from that...The crowd is quite respectful of Cornell, and there is minimal "interference" when it comes to crowd noise.

Doesn't Remind Me
Like A Stone
Wide Awake
Fell On Black Days
Be Yourself
Billie Jean (Micheal Jackson Cover)
Original Fire
Redemption Song (Marley Cover)
Peace, Love and Understanding (Elvis Costello Cover)
All Night Thing (Temple of the Dog)
Black Hole Sun
Call Me A Dog (Temple Of The Dog)
Thank You (Zeppelin Cover)

I love this show, I have been listening to it for quite some time. Actually that is exactly what we listened to on the drive from Hamilton to Toronto for the show last night!!

Re: Audioslave

Just wondering if any Cornell fans happened to catch his live performance on Jimmy Fallon during Bob Marley week. Chris covered Redemption Song and it was awesome. Sorry I can't post the video, I'm working....
