Re: Audioslave
This may be the wrong place for it..but I couldn't find a Chris Cornell page. I saw Chris Cornell live in Toronto at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Awesome show, Chris was sick and even cancelled the night before in NY. The QE Theatre is a great small venue, we had almost the worst possible seats in the place...but they were great! We were 2 rows from the very back on the balcony. I believe the total seating is approx 1,600. Cornell's voice was spot on the entire night. Played a very good mix of Soundgarden,Audioslave, and Solo stuff with a couple of cool cover songs as well. His cover of Thank you (Led Zeppelin) was worth $50 alone IMO. He also covered Imagine (John Lennon), Man of Golden words (Mother Love Bone) and a bit of Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd). I also really enjoyed his version of State Trooper (Bruce Springsteen), very cool and Cornell's intro of the song was cool he talked about how he drove intoxicated before but can't catch him now "Clean blood". Overall it was a great show with alot of great music and Cornell was a trooper for putting on a great show when it was very obvious that he was feeling awful...
