I'd have to give the edge to the Hendrix album.The factor that in my mind puts it over the top?Easy.Hendrix's rather other worldly and even at times cosmic guitar licks,especially when the Experience employed the use of backwards loops.The first Doors record is an excellent rock/blues recording,but I feel Hendrix may have injected a bit more imagination into his works.Sadly,both Jimi and Morrison wound up in "The 27 Club".............
