A band from Finland formed in 2006, yet another top notch group of Scandinavian musicians of which there seems to be and endless supply at the moment. They have a Powerful Symphonic style which caught my ear in much the same way Epica and Nightwish did. A passive non judgmental listening to begin with and in time the tunes just began to bite and grow.

I don't really know much about this genre but I like what they do.

I'm a huge fan of this band, especially the Heidi era (first 4 albums).

Capri does un-operatic vocals, so a move away from symphonic a little bit. I don't think a re-do of Heidi's material was a good idea for a first album.

The new material sounds good though, Magic Forest is a good song. I will get the new album at some point.

On a side note, Heidi went on to do a project called Dark Sarah. Less metal, but still showcases her amazing voice.

Yet another quality band from Scandinavia, they sure produce some good ones! It was a given that I'd like these, being a fan of bands like Nightwish, Within Temptation and Epica. Nice find

The band recently hired a new singer, Nicole Willerton. The new album Temptation's Gates is due on June 26.

So far, a bit of a return to their earlier form. Two great releases.
