Hi - I've been scouring the web and Gimme Shelter video etc to try and locate where the stage was sited at Altamont. Was anybody there (in mind and body) and still able to locate it?
I've tried to work it out with the road layout, power cables, track design but nothing seems to tie up...
Many thanks in advance. btw - I visited the site a cpl weeks ago and entered (trespassed) by the main gate at 17001 Midway Rd and walked down the dirt road to the track with the current stands on my left if that helps.
