After listening to RD Rats and Lace & Whiskey, I'd say it's Excellent :)

I guess there was a reason why I haven't listened to this album in two decades as I give 'er a spin yesterday. Very poor.

Agreed. The pipe organ is a great instrument that I don't think is used enough outside of gothic metal (most of whom use it rather blandly might I add) and I thought Alice made splendid use of it. Also "King of the Silver Screen", "I Never Wrote Those Songs", "It's Hot Tonight", and others. I think it's a really good album but since it steers away from what Alice is known for I can understand why it's not exactly viewed as such.

It's alright, but not even close to his earlier albums in my view.

Yeah the pipe organ is a nice effect...one of the things that I loved most about the song...but what's even better is that it's enhancing an already good tune.

I may not rank it up there with Alice's best...I think it's a good album and I spin it now and then when I have the chance. It's just sandwiched between a couple better albums...like From The Inside and Goes To Hell and all that.
