I got to see ELP and the organ rocking and sound were terrific..a few years later Works came out.. and they were in the pop charts. This takes me back to house parties/ Thunderbird Wine.Emerson Lake and Palmer - Lucky Man.

I never actually finished Secondary School..bit of a 'Johnny out of step'..anyhow i buggered off down to Portsmouth and stayed on a mates boat..dug up cannonballs - when the tide was out and sold them for grub and grog.
An old 8- Track was wired up and a battered mono Dansette served as me hifi.
A nearby market had a 2nd hand stall that sold and swapped albums...this and a 3 skinner- i was away.
