I think these songs seem to have a connection which make them acoustic. The Byrds example "Full Circle" from 1973 definitely has some Electric in it, though seems to be limited to an electric guitar. The Band song "Rockin' Chair" goes back to 1969, though shares that kind of sound you hear from Nitty Gritty Dirt Bands "Mr. Bojangles" from 1970.

You've then got other examples of stuff the Byrds did from the early 70s which is more or less Bold Bluegrass music I guess.

Leaf And Stream - Wishbone Ash

The guitars may be amplified, but the song has a definite acoustic feel.

Love this song, and everything else on Argus, a superb and under rated band was Wishbone Ash.

Not sure if it's been posted yet, but how about "Snowblind Friend" from Steppenwolf 7?
